Concord Music Group Launches Collectables Site
The Concord Music Group (Stax, Fantasy, Specialty, and Prestige) has set up "The Collector's Corner" at ConcordMusicGroup.com/collectors-corner, a veritable clearinghouse of collectibles, along with reviews and recommendations from the Concord staff.According to a press release, "Everything is here, from Carolina bluesman Pink Anderson (whose name inspired Syd Barrett to christen his little English quartet Pink Floyd) to Albert King paying tribute to that other King, Elvis Presley; to the classic comprehensive Miles Davis and John Coltrane box sets from the Prestige vaults."
Some current featured vinyl titles at the Concord store include John Coltrane's Soultrane, Bill Evans' Waltz For Debby, and Sonny Rollins' Saxophone Colossus.
