    Converse has expanded the ongoing Converse Rubber Tracks Live free concert series supporting emerging artists across the U.S.

    Free music is good. Free, good music is better. Free, good, live music is the best.

    The new monthly series will kick off with two Converse Rubber Tracks Live shows held during the Northside Festival in Brooklyn. The first show will take place on Saturday, June 15 and will feature headliners The Walkmen, with special guest Phosphorescent and Converse Rubber Tracks recording artists Friend Roulette and Abadabad.

    The second show will be held on Sunday, June 16 and will feature headliner Solange with special guest Petit Noir and Converse Rubber Tracks recording artists Cable and My Midnight Heart. All Converse Rubber Tracks recording artists performing during Converse Rubber Tracks Live at Northside Festival were selected by the L Magazine editorial team.

    Originally taking place every other month at The Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, the free series will now take place every month alternating between the Music Hall of Williamsburg and smaller music venues located throughout New York City. The series will continue to feature opening acts by Converse Rubber Tracks recording artists at every performance. Information on how fans can receive entry to the free concerts will be announced prior to each show.
