The sneaker brand is hosting a free, bi-monthly concert series called "Converse Rubber Tracks Live" at The Chapel in San Francisco on August 29. The lineup will feature sludgesters Kylesa and riff merchants Torche. The Converse Rubber Tracks Live concert series celebrates the local music community and is part of several ongoing opportunities for emerging Bay Area artists to create and showcase their music.
We love everything about this.
Coinciding with the opening of the Converse retail store in San Francisco, Converse is presenting several music initiatives that allow local artists to unleash their creative spirit. Kicking off October 4, Converse Rubber Tracks will present a floating series of in-store performances at Amoeba Music featuring local bands who have recorded at The Converse Rubber Tracks "pop-up" studio in San Francisco. The first in-store performance will feature Hot Lunch.
In addition, Converse is also hosting free weekly in-store performances every Thursday at its retail store in San Francisco.
We love to shop and rock so much that we're considering a move or at least a Thursday night visit to Nor Cal! If you are local, do NOT snooze on these opps. We'd kill for 'em.
