CartCountry Singer Danny Gokey + Wife Welcome Son

Danny Gokey, a country singer and Season 8 contestant on American Idol, is now a dad. The singer and his wife Leyicet welcomed their first child, a son they named Daniel Emanuel, on January 20. The little guy arrived on his due date, as well. That's not incredibly common, but the little guy is on time.
Gokey expressed excitement at his new role, even celebrating the fact that his role as a musician and an entertainer allows him flexibility in his schedule so he can hang out with his new little buddy!
Congrats to Danny and Leyicet!
