Country stars Brantley Gilbert and Jana Kramer are engaged. Congrats to the newly betrothed couple.
The couple issued the following statement to PEOPLE: "We could not be happier. We are so excited to share this special time with our loved ones and cannot wait to start the rest of our lives together."
Brantley rented out the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on Sunday, January, 20, and that is where he popped the question. Can you say "ROMANTIC?" It was also his birthday. Aw. So sweet we're getting cavities.
"He asked my mom for permission before he proposed, which meant a lot to me," Kramer said.
Wow. What a gentleman Brantley Gilbert is.
This will be his first marriage. Kramer had a brief marriage –like a month-long- to actor Johnathon Schaech in 2010.
