Crosby, Stills, and Nash have broken up for good. In an interview with Dutch magazine Lust for Life, Nash explained, "I don't like David Crosby right now. He's been awful for me the last two years, just fucking awful. I've been there and saved his f***ing ass for 45 years, and he treated me like s***. You can't do that to me. You can do it for a day or so, until I think you're going to come around."
"When it goes on longer, and I keep getting nasty emails from him, I'm done. F*** you! David has ripped the heart out of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young." He went on to add his feelings about the situation as a whole, "How can I not be sad? Look at the music we probably lost. How can I not be sad about that? The truth is, after being totally immersed in me and David and Stephen and Neil's music, I'm done. I've had 10 years of it. Leave me the f*** alone. I need to concentrate on me now."
Nash reiterated his comments in an interview with Billboard, "Right now, I don't want anything to do with Crosby at all. It's just that simple. In my world there will never, ever be a Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young record and there will never be another Crosby, Stills & Nash record or show."
The trio last played together on December 3rd, 2015 at the 93rd Annual National Christmas Tree Lighting in Washington, D.C. They sang "Silent Night." Crosby, Still, and Nash had not released an album with new music since 1999's Looking Forward. Graham Nash releases his sixth solo album, This Path Tonight, on April 16th via Blue Castle Records. For more on recent band breakups, check out:
