CartCrosby, Stills & Nash to Perform at "FOR THE BENEFIT OF WOMEN" Concert

Crosby, Stills & Nash will perform a special concert, "FOR THE BENEFIT OF WOMEN: A Night of Music Supporting the Foundation for the Advancement of Midwifery and Celebrating 30 Years of the Midwives Alliance," on Wednesday, September 26, 7:30PM at the Sunset Center in Carmel-by-the-Sea, CA (San Carlos at Ninth Ave., 93921).
Billed as "An Evening with Crosby, Stills, & Nash," the event is presented by The Guacamole Fund, and is scheduled for the night before the Midwives Alliance of North America's (MANA) 2012 conference, running September 27-30 in Asilomar, CA. Reserved seating and special after show Golden Circle Artists Reception are available at the Sunset Center Box office (by phone 831-620-2048 or online at www.sunsetcenter.org). Tickets go on sale at 12:00 noon on Friday, August 31.
"FOR THE BENEFIT OF WOMEN" takes place during a series of California dates on Crosby, Stills & Nash's U.S. Tour, which concludes with four nights at New York City's Beacon Theatre in October.
Speaking about the cause, Graham Nash said, "It makes me immensely proud to be able to join voices with David and Stephen in support of the Midwives. Helping to bring babies safely and securely into this world has been my daughter Nile's dream since she was seven years old. Day after day she works to bring light and life to this planet and, in her own unique, loving way, change the world."
