Hey now, hey now, don't dream it's over. That's one of my fave songs, ever, so I had to offer my rendition. Anyway, the crafters of that gem of a tune, Crowded House, will release a new album, dubbed Intriguer, shortly. It will be released worldwide in June via Universal Music, except for North America. A North American release plan and label has set to be solidified. That makes things even more intriguing.
The band will also embark on an extensive global tour to support Intriguer. Singer Neil Finn said the following in an official statement: "I look forward to a long and productive relationship with Universal Music, who are obviously the music company setting the benchmark now. We're delighted to be in the company of music-loving people who believe in us and are eager to spread the word." Finn co-produced the platter with Jim Scott and it contains 10 tracks, which were recorded in the band's native New Zealand.
We can expect to see the band stateside in July. It's their first American run since 2008. 'Bout time, boys. ?
