Damon Albarn is probably done with Gorillaz, just like he is done with Blur. Moving on, it seems.

He told The Guardian that his Gorillaz collaborator, artist Jamie Hewlett, is likely through with the band due to some shit that went down last time.

"Jamie does, which is fair enough," Albarn said about the idea that the band may be over. "I think we were at cross purposes somewhat on that last record, which is a shame. So until a time comes when that knot has been untied…"

Albarn also stated that they disagreed over the fact that Hewlett's visuals weren't as crucial a part of the band's 2010 world tour as they had been previously!

    Egos clashing, maybe?

"It was one of those things," Albarn said. "The music and the videos weren't working as well together, but I felt we'd made a really good record, and I was into it. So we went and played it."

Are you bummed if the Gorillaz are indeed done?
