Blur/Gorillaz leader/HNIC Damon Albarn is nothing if not ambitious. The singer is planning to write and record a new album in the Democratic Republic of Congo. He also plans to complete the album within a week. How's that for a fast?

Albarn will travel to the African country with a team of producers and other artists with the intention of recording an album in a week. The project has been facilitated in collaboration with Oxfam, who are also likely to receive the proceeds from the project.

What do you think of Damon Albarn's plans to write and record in the Democratic Republic of Congo, in a week, to boot?
