Dane Cook's Embezzling Half-Brother Receives Jail Sentence

Someone isn't laughing all the way to the bank and that's Darryl McCauley, the half-brother of comedian Dane Cook. McCauley was sentenced to five-to-six years in prison Wednesday for embezzling millions of dollars from the actor and comedian while working as his business manager! That's the ultimate betrayal of trust, to pocket cash from your own flesh and blood while pretending to act in their best interest. Shame on you, Darryl.
According to The Boston Globe, McCauley, 45, pleaded guilty to 27 counts of larceny over $250, three counts of forgery, embezzlement and other charges. At one point, McCauley wrote out a check for $3 million to himself from Cook's account. He had served as Cook's business manager from the early '90s through December 2008. McCauley will serve 10 years probation after he leaves jail. He also must make restitutions to his little brother.
If you can't trust family, who can you trust?
Should Dane Cook address the embezzling scandal in his stand up routine?
