Danish Version of Graceland Scheduled to be Built

Denmark is about to get its own replica of Elvis Presley's Memphis mansion Graceland. The museum will host thousands of Elvis relics and pieces of memorabilia and is slated to open in April of next year. The project was the vision of a Presley fan, Henrik Knudsen, who also runs a local Elvis museum. The first brick was laid on Tuesday.
Sources say that the new museum could attract anywhere from 75,000 to 125,000 visitors, as the small museum nabs 25,000 visitors per year already. The Danish Graceland will be a brick-for-brick, exact copy of the real thing and should boast 6,000 original possessions, such as clothing, boots, guitars, letters, contracts and other objects. There will also be a gift shop, restaurant and theater where Elvis' films will be looped. While Elvis was surely the King, he was not celebrated for his (lack of) acting chops. But we do think that if you are going to run an Elvis museum, you need to focus on all aspects of his life and career, even the not-so-good ones, like his films and cardboard acting.
The project cost $4.3 American dollars to build and was funded by both private investors and a local bank.
Would you visit the Danish Graceland? Or do you prefer the real thing? What is your favorite Elvis song? Story? Movie? Lore?
