On October 12, The GRAMMY Museum will host platinum-selling artist and six-time GRAMMY® nominee, Dave Koz, for an onstage interview about his new album Hello Tomorrow. The album will be released the same day, so this is an intimate way to educate folks about the new album, for sure.

After a career spanning nearly two decades, Dave Koz is excited to be with a new record label and will debut his first album Hello Tomorrow on Concord Records. Koz looks at this album as evidence of a crossroads in his career, and one that represents change and reinvention. "It's been a big change for me personally, and the more people I talk to, the more I realize that there are millions of people with a similar story," Koz said in a statement. "Circumstances have led them to take a step in a different direction or reinvent themselves in some way. Many of us are at the beginning of a new era, and I've found it's liberating to embrace change." I applaud and admire Koz's PMA –positive mental attitude- regarding his change of label affiliation.

The album features new collaborations with GRAMMY-winning producers Marcus Miller and John Burk as well as a guest appearance from legendary trumpet player, Herb Alpert; whose old stomping grounds - the former A&M studios - now Henson Studios is where most of the album was recorded and who plays with Koz on "This Guy's In Love With You." Hello Tomorrow also includes "Start All Over Again," featuring vocalist Dana Glover. Dave and Dana will appear in and perform the song on the ABC hit series Desperate Housewives, scheduled to air this Fall.

In front of an intimate audience of 200 in the Museum's Clive Davis Theater, Koz will talk with GRAMMY Foundation Vice President, Scott Goldman about the inspiration behind his new album, working with new producers and adding vocalist to his substantial list of credits. Following the interview, Koz will take questions from the audience and perform a selection of songs.

Will you be watching Desperate Housewives this season?
