Dave Matthews Band have announced a fall 2010 U.S. arena tour. The outing will start on November 2 at HSBC Arena in Buffalo, NY, and will include the group's first-ever concert at Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, NY on November 3. In the middle of the tour, the band will play two consecutive two-night stands; one at Boston's TD Garden on November 9 and 10 and one at New York City's Madison Square Garden on November 12 and 13. The tour will conclude with a return to Charlottesville, where Dave Matthews Band formed in 1991. The group will play Charlottesville's John Paul Jones Arena on November 19 and 20. What's old is new again with DMB.

With its summer tour still underway, Dave Matthews Band will stop in New Orleans to perform at the special pregame show, "NFL OPENING KICKOFF 2010 PRESENTED BY EA SPORTS," tonight at 7:30 PM ET. The live program will be simulcast on NBC and NFL Network. It leads into the season opener between the New Orleans Saints and the Minnesota Vikings at the Superdome. Go Saints… only because Brett Favre is a jackass with his training camp antics; I am an Eagles fan, so I sorta don't care who wins this NFC game.

With DMB's current tour concluding at Chicago's Wrigley Field on September 17 and 18, Dave Matthews Band joins a short list of musical acts that have performed at the historic ballpark, including Jimmy Buffett, The Police, Billy Joel and Elton John. Both of Dave Matthews Band's Wrigley Field shows sold out just minutes after tickets went on sale. Clearly, Windy City residents love their DMB.

The band, which will tour South America in October, has sold over 17 million tickets since its inception. See what I mean about being one of the most successful touring acts ever? Dave Matthews Band was the biggest ticket seller worldwide of the past decade, selling upwards of 11 million tickets to 547 shows from 2000-2009, according to Billboard Boxscore. In fact, DMS are the only group to exceed 10 million in attendance for the period.
