David Bowie Book Author Says the Musical Icon Might Not Make New Music

Paul Trynka, the author of the recent book about the musical icon that is David Bowie titled Starman, has made a bold statement. He has said that he thinks Bowie will only come out with new music if he "can deliver something seismic." That's a big statement for Trynka to make, isn't it?
Trynka told our buddies over at Spinner.com that it would be a "miracle" if Bowie comes back, but that "miracles do happen." That is right. Miracles do happen every now and again. But until we hear otherwise about Bowies plans from Bowie's incredibly awesome publicist, we're going to take Trynka's statements for what they are: sheer speculation.
We will also acknowledge that Bowie has such an impressive body of work that if he chooses never to write another note or release another new sound, we could not hold it against him. Just sayin'.
