Handwritten lyrics to David Bowie's "The Jean Genie" will be auctioned off in London on July 3 and they are expected to nab over $23,000. Wow. That's some dough right there.
The 1972 piece, which is signed and dated by Bowie, is among the highlights at the Bonham's Entertainment Memorabilia event.
Additionally, a red Vox 12-string electric guitar that Bowie used while promoting The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars is estimated to fetch at least $15,500, while a $18.60 contract he and his former guitarist John "Hutch" Hutchinson signed to perform at London's Ealing College of Communication in 1969 could fetch at least $1,860, so says WENN.
These are rock 'n' roll relics, people.
What would you pay for any of these items if money was not an issue and you had millions in expendable income?
