Death Grips prove that silence isn't only golden it's downright intoxicating on their nearly 13-minute music video for "Come Up And Get Me" from last year's mind-fuck masterpiece, No Love Deep Web.

After over eight minutes of quiet—minus churning feedback intermittently—and haunting black and white footage including Stefan "MC Ride" Burnett ritualistically combing through the Chateau Marmont, handcuffed wrists in the pool, clips on the TV of dying pop culture, and more, the song revs up. Preceded by the silent strain coupled with the visuals, the music hits even harder. Once Ride starts spitting the paranoid, powerful poetry that comprises the verse, everything comes to life.

His performance proves ghastly and chilling punk noise rap brilliance. Would you expect anything less? Ride and his Death Grips cohort Zach Hill don't pander to expectations or conventions, and this video is another beacon of individuality.

Come up and get them and you might not ever be the same.
