Debbie Harry Reveals Encounter With Ted Bundy

As someone who watches a lot of Forensic Files and who always looks over her shoulder because she reads up a lot on this subject, this news post is the most terrifying thing I have written all year! Blondie singer, the infinitely stylish Debbie Harry, revealed to The Sun that she had an encounter with notorious (and literal) lady killer Ted Bundy! Harry said that she accepted a ride from Bundy, known for his brutal murders of women, back in the '70s. She noticed that old Ted's car had no inside door handles and immediately jumped out, but not before Bundy tried to restrain her. TERRIFYING!
Harry said she later saw Bundy on the news, after his arrest, and thus connected the dots about her own incident with him.
There is a factual caveat here: when Harry originally told the story, she said it took place in New York. However, a book about the killer says that Bundy never ventured to New York nor did he drive a vehicle like Harry described. Hmmmmm.
Blondie's latest album -and their first in seven years -is called The Panic of Girls and is due out next year.
Do you think Harry's story is suspicious? Is she trying to drum up publicity for The Panic of Girls?
