Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter and performer Deborah Allen has signed an agreement with Nashville-based Delta Rock Records and is putting the finishing touches on her debut album for the label, which is tentatively titled Hear Me Now.
Allen produced eight of the project's 11 songs, with longtime friend and legendary songwriter/producer Bobby Braddock manning the boards for the other three tracks. The first single from Hear Me Now is due to hit country radio in March.
"I'm so excited to work with a label that shares my creative vision and allows me the freedom to work as a pure artist," said Allen in a statement. "Delta Rock Records is the perfect home for my new album, and I can't wait to share it with the rest of the world and all my fans!"
Thanks to career hits like "Baby I Lied," "I've Been Wrong Before" and "Rock Me," Allen is widely recognized for her versatility and success on both the Country and Pop charts. A two-time Grammy nominee and recipient of multiple BMI Millionaire Airplay awards, she has also written hits for dozens of artists, including LeAnn Rimes, Brooks & Dunn, Tanya Tucker, Patty Loveless, John Conlee, Janie Fricke and others. An accomplished producer, Allen has recently been writing material with and producing country newcomer Margaret Phillips.
