Denny's has announced the launch of its "All Nighter" menu, a series of artery-clogging new items endorsed by such acts as the Plain White T's, The All-American Rejects, Taking Back Sunday and Eagles of Death Metal. For example, Eagles of Death Metal's Jesse Hughes is supposedly all about "Hearts on a Plate": heart-shaped pancakes doused in strawberry syrup and white chocolate chips. Not to mention "Potachos," a stoner-tastic concoction of "fried and seasoned kettle chips topped with crumbled sausage, bacon, bell pepper and onion mix, cheese sauce and shredded Cheddar cheese."
According to themodernage.org, "Other 'rockstar' items will include the 'All-American SOS' (designed by the All-American Rejects) and the 'Taking Back Bacon Burger Fries' (fries with all the fixings of a cheeseburger dumped on top of it, conceived by Taking Back Sunday). Sure, your cardiologist is hyperventilating at the sight of this menu, but your 3 a.m. beer-filled belly is jumping up and down."
Indeed. Now who said selling out couldn't taste good?
