Diddy is in a bit of financial hot water with the city of New York. The rapper/Bad Boy Records CEO, also known as Sean Combs, owes nearly $1 million to the Big Apple for illegally plastering promotional posters all over the city, reports the New York Daily News. You know that saying, "Post no bills?" Apparently, Diddy doesn't care what that means.
Diddy is one of many artists the city plans to pursue in efforts to clear debts. City officials say the heat is on music mogul Sean (Diddy) Combs, hip-hop legend Doug E. Fresh, Mickey Rourke's plastic surgeon and Remy Ma's defense lawyer to pay the fuck up! They're among thousands of people and companies that collectively owe $1.9 billion, the city says.
"We are going to find these people," vowed Finance Commissioner David Frankel. "We're going to turn them upside down by their ankles and we're going to shake them until the money comes out of their pockets."
Should Diddy just pay up?
