What a generous dude Diddy is! The rapper and mogul has saved The Boys and Girls Club of Harlem, New York, which provides help and guidance to young people in the local community, by making a sizeable donation! The organization faced the cold, hard fact that it would have to shutter due to state budget cuts, but Diddy swooped in and saved the day.
Diddy grew up in Harlem and his donation is said to be big enough to keep The Boys and Girls Club of Harlem alive and kicking for quite some time.
According to AllHipHop.com, Willie C. Bentley, Jr., a board member and resource development chair of The Boys and Girls Club, said, "Mr. Combs' contribution comes at a time when we were faced with the possibility of eliminating existing programs and/or club sites. One hundred per cent of Mr. Combs' contribution will go directly to the young people, and provide educational, recreational and social enrichment programs allowing us to move forward as a club, uninterrupted."
Nice work, Diddy!
What charity do you support, if any?
