Dischord Records, the famous Washington D.C. punk label, has released its entire archive to Band Camp. Their roster has included punk giants such as Minor Threat, Fugazi, and Teen Idles. "Every artist on the Dischord roster is now represented on its Bandcamp page, meaning that listeners can dive into the historic D.C. punk scene without needing an Apple Music or Spotify subscription (it's also worth noting that since launching in 2008, Bandcamp has distributed over $100 million in revenues to independent artists — much higher royalties than these streaming giants)," reports Vice's i-D.
Dischord Records was started in 1980 by Ian MacKay, frontman of Minor Threat and Fugazi, and Jeff Nelson, drummer for Minor Threat. The duo founded the record label to release Teen Idles' Minor Disturbance. The label is known for promoting the DIY scene and producing all of the albums itself. The sold all their records at discount prices without financing from major distributors.

The label most recently re-released Lungfish's fourth full-length, Sound In Time, on LP. Originally released in 1996, the album was recorded at Inner Ear Studios in Arlington, Virginia by Don Zientara. The record has been long out of print, but this new version was remastered for vinyl by TJ Lipple.
