Disney Supports Demi Lovato

While speculation abounds that Disney star Demi Lovato checked into rehab to deal with an eating disorder and cutting issues, which would suggest body dysmorphic problems, her bosses at Disney issued a statement of support for the teen star, who is just 18-years-old and who left her tour with The Jonas Brothers to seek treatment and help.
"We support Demi's decision to put her health first and we send her our best wishes," a Disney spokesperson told People.
Sources close to the Lovato family claim that Lovato was bullied while growing up and dealt with the pain through cutting and trying to control her life via controlling her food intake. Her father Patrick, however, told RadarOnline that the pressures of Hollywood, the celebrity lifestyle and teen stardom took its toll on his daughter. He also said he is confident she was soldier through this hardship. Keep in mind, though, that Patrick Lovato also said he has not seen his daughter in months and that he had been in the hospital battling cancer, so his acute knowledge of his daughter's current situation is limited. He also said that she did not visit the hospital because she was very busy. I can't tell if Lovato ran afoul of his little girl or not, but this confession of his does seem a wee bit fishy.
Let's hope Lovato isn't Lindsay Lohan, Part Deux.
What do you think is at the heart of Lovato's treatment?
