Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum hard rock band Disturbed will premiere the video for "Another Way To Die" exclusively with Clear Channel for 24 hours as of yesterday. The video will air across Clear Channel Radio's Active Rock, Mainstream Rock, Alternative and Sports station websites which totals over 130 stations nationwide. Additionally, fans can watch the video on their mobile devices using the iheartradio application, which has been downloaded over 8 million times on iPhone, BlackBerry, and Android. After 24 hours the video will go wide and can be seen on .
"Another Way to Die" is the first single off the band's new album Asylum, set for release via Reprise Records on August 31, 2010. The video was directed by Roboshobo (Mastodon, Metallica).
"Another Way to Die" is already a #1 hit at Active Rock Radio, which is pretty much part for the course for the band, who have enjoyed tons of number ones in their career, which is going on 10 years strong.
To celebrate their 10th anniversary, Disturbed has created the documentary Decade of Disturbed. The 60 + minute film candidly captures the band's decade-long history, with extensive behind-the-scenes clips and never-before-seen footage. The doc will be included with every purchase of Asylum as a special gift to fans from the band. How nice of the band to give back.
The Asylum Limited Edition CD/DVD pre-order comes with the full album including two bonus tracks ("Down With The Sickness " and "Stricken" live), expanded artwork, a DVD with the Decade of Disturbed documentary plus nine "Disturbed Dissected," exclusive instrument video instructionals, and an exclusive double-sided poster with guitar tabs. It is available only through .
On August 17, the Chicago four-piece will hit the road to headline the first annual Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival, which runs through October 4.
