CartDMX Headed to Jail

It's dark and a Phoenix jail is hot!
According to a report from the Associate Press, fallen rapper DMX (Earl Simmons to his mama and baby mamas) has been ordered by a judge to spend six months in a Phoenix jail after violating his probation. The judge also ordered the rapper to undergo a mental health evaluation. This is just the most recent in a string of arrests and legal issues that have plagued the formerly multi-platinum rap superstar in recent years.
Apparently, the 39-year-old DMX admitted in court, on Tuesday, March 16, that he committed a single violation of probation for failing a drug test last June. He was arrested March 9. He was released from jail last May after serving a 90-day sentence for felony convictions ranging from cruelty to animals, theft and drug counts.
If DMX is indeed accepted into a drug rehabilitation program, he could be released ahead of schedule. Best of luck to DMX in cleaning up his act and getting back on track and focusing on what's really important.
