Dom DeLuise Passes Away
Comic actor and chef Dom DeLuise has passed away. He was 75-years-old and passed on Monday night in his sleep in Southern California, which was confirmed by his son, Michael. The cause of DeLuise's death was not immediately disclosed but it's been said he was battling a long illness.DeLuise's heyday spanned from the 1960s through the 1980s, when he appeared on a host of variety shows, like The Entertainers with Carol Burnett and The Dean Martin Show. DeLuise also starred in dozens of films, such as Blazing Saddles and Smokey and the Bandit II.
He is also survived by his wife Carol, to whom he was married since 1965, and two other sons, Peter and David.
