Drake played a surprise show at Fader Fort, Austin, Texas' SXSW on Saturday night. He played six songs from last year's If You're Reading This It's Too Late and, his collaborative mixtape with Future, What a Time to Be Alive. Before performing "Know Yourself," Drake greeted his fans as equals, "I got nothing else to do but be here with you all in Austin." Drake then launched into renditions of "Legend," "Energy," "Jumpman," "Back to Back," and "Summer 16." As the show wound to a close, 6 God repped his OVO crew and announced that he'll be back coming back to tour Austin, Houston and Dallas following the release of his fourth studio LP, Views From the 6. It's likely Drake will embark on a full-on summer tour.

The Toronto rapper was tight lipped about his forthcoming album. He seems to enjoy keeping his fans in suspense, while also reassuring them with his blasé confidence, he offered a concise picture, "Views From the 6 coming in how many weeks, I hope you enjoy that s***," he said.

Although Drake didn't perform any songs from his highly anticipated follow-up to 2013's Nothing Was the Same, his fellow OVO label-mates Partynextdoor shared a new song following his SXSW set. "Come and See Me" is produced by OVO regular Noah "40" Shebib and features Drake.

Last week Drake joined Rihanna at a concert in Miami where the two performed "Work."
