Over the weekend, Drake dropped a new track, "Summer Sixteen," on his Beats 1 show, OVO Sound Radio. The song was produced by 40, Boi-1da, Brian Bennett, The Winans, and Cuebeatz. Drake also announced that his upcoming album, Views from the 6 (OVO Sound, Cash Money Records), will be coming out this April. Views from the 6 will be Drake's fourth solo studio album and his first since 2013's Nothing Was the Same.

Drake doesn't pull any punches on the track, taking swings at everyone from Kanye to Meek Mill to Kendrick Lamar. It's clear that the rapper isn't lacking in confidence, as he announces, "All you boys in the new Toronto want to be me a little/All your exes know I like my Os with a V in the middle." This is followed with a few swift shots at Kanye and the Toronto-born star announcing he is the new Jay-Z, "I used to want to be young Roc-a-fella then I became J/Now I got a house in L.A. I got a bigger pool than Ye/And look man, Ye's pool is nice, mine's just bigger."

In 2015, Drake released If You're Reading This It's Too Late (Cash Money Records), which reached number one on the US Billboard 200. Last September, he dropped What a Time to Be Alive (Cash Money Records) with Atlanta-based rapper Future, which also reach number one on the US Billboard 200.
