It's been five months since Drake first announced his More Life "playlist project" with four new songs. But, now, it finally seems as if the Toronto rapper has got his ducks in a row for it's release, which turns out is less than a week away. That's right, on March 18th Drake's new project will see the light of day.
Drake made the announcement via a trailer that was posted on social media, which featured the superstar rapper globetrotting and partying. The release date appeared at the end of the short video, which didn't seem to feature any new music just some eerie, speculative sounds.
The rapper previously unveiled More Life's "Two Birds One Stone," "Fake Love," "Wanna Know", and the single "Sneakin'" featuring 21 Savage. In February, Drake debuted "Hush Up the Silence" with Wizkid. The album is set to feature new music from Drake, as well as songs from others who fall under the OVO umbrella.
Drake recently talked about the album during an interview with University of Kentucky basketball coach John Calipari, saying that More Life is "a body of work I'm creating," rather than a traditional album, and that it's purpose is "to keep people excited, give people new music, let them know that I'm still hungry."
Drake is currently touring through Europe, with a few upcoming concerts on his docket, including two nights in Paris, as well as stops in London, Glasgow, and Amsterdam. It seems like few people are having as much fun this Spring as Drake, and, hopefully, the new tunes will have him sharing some more about his current world domination.
