Drool Adds Cast Members
Laura Harring and Jill Marie Jones have joined the cast of Drool, a dark comedy written by Nancy Kissam.Kissam won the much-coveted 2006 Slamdance Screenplay Competition with her spec for the film, which features an abused wife (to be played by Harring) who plots to escape the clutches of her evil husband with the help of her best friend. Unfortunately, the abused accidentally offs her spouse, which leads her and her friend on a cross-country trek to dispose of the body. The film is being produced by Upload Films. Key release and production dates were not available at press time.

In other awards news, The National Board of Review picked Anne Hathaway in Rachel Getting Married and Clint Eastwood in Gran Torino for its top acting honors. The board picks usually fall in line with the Oscars.
