Pulitzer Prizes were dished out earlier today including one special music citation for Bob Dylan. The 66-year-old singer/songwriter was selected for his "profound impact on popular music and American culture, marked by lyrical compositions of extraordinary poetic power."

Another music-related award was given to David Lang for "The Little Match Girl Passion," which premiered at New York's Carnegie Hall on October 25.
