Eagles of Death Metal Play Their First Full Show In Paris Since Terror Attacks

On February 13th, The Eagles of Death Metal played their first solo concert in Stockholm - their first since the Bataclan show where 89 people lost their lives.
At last night's concert at L'Olympia, the band covered The Rolling Stones' classic slice of sleaze "Brown Sugar." In the video, the band's frontman, Jesse Hughes, apparently snaps his middle finger at the start of the concert. Hughes shook off this minor stroke of bad luck saying, "Can I show y'all how nervous I am? I snapped the tendon in my middle finger right now I was so nervous. So if I fuck up the guitar y'all cannot get mad at me!"
You can also watch fan-videos of the band tearing through "Bag O' Miracles," and "Don't Speak (I Came to Make a Bang)," from their 2006 LP Death By Sexy.
This was a special show in more ways than one. The band was joined by Queens of the Stone Age's Josh Homme on drums. Although Homme is featured on the Eagles of Death Metal recordings, it's rare that he plays live with them.
The Eagles of Death Metal rescheduled European tour wraps up in March. Their world tour will keep them busy well into the late days of Summer.
