Ya win some, ya lose some.

Sir Elton John has lost his legal battle with British newspaper The Times. According to WENN, a judge ruled the publication did not libel the musician by publishing articles that John saw as false linkage to a tax scheme.

He sued the paper over two June published articles, suggesting they damaged his reputation. El, that's not possible! You are flawless.

The Times editors published a correction, acknowledging the accountant mentioned in the piece had never been employed by the superstar. They also published a second clarification stating the accountant's company had not been involved in such a scheme.

The judge's ruling was as follows: "The conclusion I have reached is that the words complained of are not capable of bearing the meaning attributed to them by the claimant or any other defamatory meaning."

    Case closed.
