So Marshall and Kim are back together and everyone's happy in the Mathers clan, right? Not so fast. Eminem's grandmother, Betty Kresin, ain't buying it.
Speaking to reporters from her home in St. Joseph, Missouri, Kresin, who says she wasn't invited to the wedding, described Kim Mathers as a "mean, nasty woman" and "very controlling." She went on to predict that the rapper's childhood sweetheart would try to take all his money. "She wouldn't want to get married so quick if he'd got a pre-nup," Kresin added.
Although Eminem's publicist described the wedding as being attended by family and close friends, Kresin insisted that no one in the Mathers family, including Eminem's mother, was invited to the ceremony.
Eminem's previous marriage to Kim took place in 1999 and lasted only two years before ending in a nasty divorce and a bitter custody battle over the couple's 10-year-old daughter, Hailie Jade. Their second marriage comes after a tumultuous year for Eminem, who was hospitalized for a sleep medication dependency and announced an indefinite hiatus from recording after the release of his first greatest hits collection, Curtain Call.
