Scottish singer Emeli Sandé married her longtime boyfriend last weekend!
She had been with marine biologist Adam Gouraguine for seven years. They wed in the exclusive marina Porto Montenegro in his native region.
Sande will take Gouraguine's last name because, as she told a local TV station, "I want to be the part of his life and his family, so I want to add his surname. I would also love to have a Montenegrin passport. I want to be part of his tradition. I grew up in a family of two different cultural backgrounds, so I embraced both. One day when we have kids, I'd like them to be the part of these two different cultures."
How romantic and old fashioned of Emile Sandé-Gouraguine!
We hyphenated her name there as a sign of respect! We're not sure if she is dropping the "Sande" or not at press time.
