Organisers, who had drawn capacity crowds of 65,000 fans for each of the three days the event was due to run, called a halt to planned performances by global names such as Eminem and the Foo Fighters.

    Eminem and Kylie Minogue are set to perform in Abu Dhabi at the Yasalam After-Race Concerts that follow the Formula 1 Grand Prix. In addition to Minogue and Em, Nickelback are headlining the festival, while Missy Elliott and Cee Lo Green will be on site, performing at the Beats on the Beach stage.

    Kylie performs on November 2. Nickelback takes the stage on November 3, while Em will "wrap" the festival on November 4. Those are probably huge pay days for these acts.
