Eric Clapton will celebrate the big 7-0 on March 30.
To celebrate, the icon has booked a pair of shows at New York's famed Madison Square Garden for May 1 and 2.
This will mark the 46th anniversary since Eric Clapton, with the band Cream, opened the "new" Madison Square Garden on November 2, 1968. Clapton has performed more times at Madison Square Garden than any other U.S. venue, for a total of 45 times.
The math there equals awesome.
The show will feature Eric, accompanied by his band members Paul Carrack, Steve Gadd, Nathan East, Chris Stainton, Sharon White and Michelle John, with opening support act Andy Fairweather Low & the Lowriders.
Eric Clapton and Chase are excited to continue their partnership. Exclusively, Chase credit and debit customers will receive advance access to purchase tickets prior to the general public on sale. Tickets go on-sale Monday, March 16 at 11AM to Chase cardholders.
General on-sale begins Friday, March 20 at 11AM.
Either show could move to May 3rd to if it conflicts with a playoff game.
Tickets go on sale March 20th and can be found at thegarden.com.
