Escape The Fate "Ungrateful" Song & Music Video Review — 4.5 out of 5 stars

Escape The Fate don't shy away from blood in their new single and music video "Ungrateful". In fact, the band confronts the rampant and brutal cycles of domestic and school violence with a poignant and palpable narrative that'll leave you shaking. As for the song itself, it's Escape The Fate at their most furious and fiery yet.
Robert Ortiz's blazing drums steamroll forward with true metallic motion as TJ Bell's bass hits with unbridled aggression and groove. Meanwhile, Monte Money and Michael Money make for one of the most intriguing and infectious six-string duos in the game right now. Monte rips a solo that'll make jaws drop and hopefully encourage a few kids to pick up the axe, while Michael holds down a shotgun rhythm. At the eye of the storm, singer Craig Mabbitt seamlessly shifts from a guttural scream into a soaring refrain, "Stand up and scream while the rest of the world won't make a sound".
Escape The Fate are ready to take the crown as true genre kings. They've put in the time, and now it's their bloody turn to reign as metal's elite. When Ungrateful drops May 14, it's on.
