Exclusive Album Premiere: A Bad Think, "Sleep"

Time to wake up, ARTISTdirectioners, with a little Sleep.
A Bad Think's new album Sleep is out today, June 17 [iTunes link]. But we've got the hookup and we're offering you the chance to hang with us and with A Bad Think for this exclusive listening party, so come on over and enjoy it. Feel free to hang around and listen all day today. We won't kick you out; you are always welcome.
Here's the intel on the project: A Bad Think consists of a sole member --that'd be Michael Marquart-- who is releasing his fifth album in the form of Sleep, which is a collection of 12 songs of modern alternative music that offers one helluva glimpse of the singer-songwriter.
In the '90s while recording some solo material with former David Bowie guitarist/producer Stacy Heydon, Marquart was recruited by A Flock of Seagulls to fly to New York and play drums on a new album they were making. After the session, he joined the band briefly, but decided not to continue so he could focus on his own music.
"The new album is called Sleep and I am very proud of it," A Bad Think told us. "I look at it as more of a painting than an album. The lyrics and music should work together as one to paint a picture, an overall feeling. Music should not be delegated to be just background music, though a lot of young people look at it as exactly that. It's just something to listen to in the background while they are on social media, and not really listening to what the artist is saying."
With that in mind, don't wake up. Just... Sleep.
