Rock Star Mayhem Fest is officially upon us. It kicks off on July 10th in San Bernardino California and will ravage the rest of the continent all summer!
We've gathered some thoughts from Korn frontman Jonathan Davis and Rob Zombie about the upcoming Rock Star Mayhem Fest. Check out what they had to say below!
So , how psyched are you guys for Mayhem? It must feel like a reunion since you did Rock Is Dead together in '99!
Jonathan Davis: I'm really stoked for Mayhem. I remember we had such a good time on the Rock Is Dead tour with Rob Zombie in '99, and the shows were great. It was a good pairing and we had a lot of fun on that tour. The fans really enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to doing it again with Rob Zombie. We get to hang out with Joey Jordison [Slipknot] and John 5. Joey played with us for a little bit, so I'm excited to tour with those guys. It's definitely going to be sick.
Rob Zombie: Well, Rock is Dead was a really fun tour! I had a good time on that run. I didn't know the Korn guys at all before we did the tour and they're all super cool guys. I just ran into Jonathan before we went out on the Gruesome Tour. I don't even know when the last time I saw him before that was. He was like, "God, can you believe it's been eleven years since we did that tour?" I thought, "No, I can't!" That, I remember was a really good tour, so I'm looking forward to it. It'll be good because a lot of time has gone by but I don't think it's affected anybody. The show will be just as good as it ever was. This will be the same if not better than it ever was.
