CartExclusive Premiere: 3 Doors Down Share the Story Behind Their "Be Like That" Video

As 3 Doors Down prepare to release their Greatest Hits record on November 19, they are looking back on their thoroughly awesome, hit-spawning career, sharing the story behind their videos. ARTISTdirect.com has partnered with the band for the premiere of the "behind-the-story" of the "Be Like That" video. The single was released in 2001 and a version of the song was featured on the American Pie 2 soundtrack, and a video was made for that version.
What you see on screen looks like a summer day in California. Turns out that the clip was shot in the winter, outside of London, when it was 50 degrees, tops! What you see is a result of prop lighting, good acting and some creative editing.
The poor band members froze while filming in t-shirts, but they hid their chill well. Hey, at least we know they are good actors!
The band's greatest hits CD, where nine No. 1 hits have been remixed and remastered, lands on November 19. Pre-order it on iTunes.
