ARTISTdirect.com has partnered with D&M to exclusively premiere "Dirty Love," the first single from their upcoming debut full-length album of the same name, which will be out this fall on a date TBD. So stay tuned for more information there. But for now, we've got a song for you to enjoy.
In case you are light on their bio, let's set the stage. D&M are a blues-infused alternative pop band on the rise from Philadelphia, one of our fave cities.
The indie group consists of vocalist/guitarist Danny Fornasa, who's got a set of pipes that are something to get excited about, and lead guitarist Matt Klahre, who shreds like a well-seasoned virtuoso. The duo draws influence from current chart-toppers/genre-benders John Mayer and Fun., and musical legends The Beatles and The Band to cultivate their fresh hybrid sound. It's good stuff.
"With 'Dirty Love,' we really wanted to make a statement and set a direction for ourselves as a band," Fornasa told ARTISTdirect.com about the song. "Our EPs in the past were a little bit singer-songwriter, a little blues rock, but with 'Dirty Love,' we wanted to make our own timeless rock and roll debut. We worked with some amazing producers and mixers including Erica Glyn, Brandon Bost, and Christopher Lord-Alge (Muse, Green Day) to bring big bold sounds to our songs and take it up to the next level. We're super excited for the world to hear these songs and even more excited to play them around the world."
Without further pause, get down with "Dirty Love."
