Exclusive Song Premiere: Lit "Miss You Gone"

ARTISTdirect.com has partnered with So Cal pop rock superstars Lit to premiere the brand new song "Miss You Gone" from their brand new album View from the Bottom. We like lots of brand new stuff. That's why we said it twice. Here it here!
View From the Bottom is the band's first album in eight years, and "Miss You Gone" is a chunky, catchy anthem, bolstered by a razor sharp riff and the band's knack for poppy melodies. Give it a minute and you'll be pumping your fist in the air and nodding your head in time with the beats. It's certainly a summer-ready song, one that demands to be blared at deafening decibels.
The song eschews the novelty aspect that defined some of Lit's previous hits, like "My Own Worst Enemy" and "Miserable." While we love those songs for their cute and fun element, this song retains the signature Lit pop rock style, with a bit more seriousness. We love it and can't stop listening to it.
"'Miss You Gone' is a song about hooking up with an ex or a fling that still knows how to get you to you," guitarist Jeremy Popoff told ARTISTdirect.com. "Then after the sex and the booze wears off, you realize you like the person a lot more when they are not there with you."
We've so been there, done that, felt that, bought the t-shirt. Leave it to Lit to encapsulate that feeling/experience in a song. Listen here
