The song appears on the 40th anniversary edition of Brothers and Sisters, out tomorrow, June 25. So enjoy this advance listen of a classic track as delivered by icons of rock 'n' roll. Hear it here...first! It's a definitive track from an era long gone but that lives on with music like this.
If you need it, here's a history lesson on Brothers and Sisters.
Brothers and Sisters was the first album released after the tragic loss of founder and guitarist Duane Allman, who died in a motorcycle crash on October 29, 1971. This album also turned out to be the band's most successful selling recording to date, spending five weeks at No. 1. It was the first to achieve platinum status. The 4CD Super Deluxe includes 20 previously unreleased jams, rehearsals, outtakes and the live tracks from the Winterland concert of 1973. So if you are a fan of the Allmans, this is all material you MUST own and add to your collection.
