ARTISTdirect is thrilled to partner with Joanne Weaver to premiere her music video for "Nature Boy." Yes, it made us think of wrestler Ric Flair for a hot second.

The song appears on Interstellar Songbook, out now.

Retro, intergalactic songstress Joanne Weaver described the making of her "Nature Boy" video with director John Byrne, who has worked with Florence + the Machine, Mariah Carey, Gwen Stefani and more, saying, "As soon as the plane touched down amongst the lush greenery and swaying palm trees of the Dominican Republic, John and I knew we were in for another ride: the filming of my character's adventure in 'Nature Boy' was an adventure onto itself!"

She continued, "On our very first day, we were greeted by John's Dominican friends on the island, who became our instant entourage and makeshift camera crew -- that's Yobany's motorcycle taxi I'm riding side-saddle on in the video-- and the rest of the week left me with sensations and images in my head that I'll never forget: racing in our truck to capture the light of the most amazing sunset we had ever seen; meeting a gaggle of adorable little girls who laughed at my horrible Spanish as they taught me games and I taught them dances, and who were my impromptu 'dressers' for a pivotal scene in the video; incorporating unsuspecting passersby as extras in the film and trying to convince their worried minds that our 'Missing Person' posters were fake!; zooming up unpaved roads through slums and into the heart of the jungle; me getting bit my mosquitoes about 50 times while filming our jungle floor scene; John applying perfect makeup to me no matter what conditions we were in; and relaxing in the evenings at our Sosua hotel after a fine meal, Presidente beer in my hand, and reminiscing about all the great work and funny run-ins we had had that day...I'll never forget it and I'm so grateful for the experience. I hope you like the fruits of our adventure!"

With all that in mind, watch this killer video!
