On your mark, get set, GO! Or at least watch!
ARTISTdirect and seven-piece NYC ensemble Miko and the Musket have teamed up to premiere their music video for "On Your Mark."
"It should go without saying that we had a blast filming this video," the band told us about the clip. "We knew we wanted to do a live video with a twist, but the added aspect of a 'choreographed' one-take video was contributed by our sound engineer for the project, Dan Crowley, who happens to own and manage the studio where we recorded and shot (Motel Studios). It was a very ambitious project; there was a lot to consider with the timing of movement, coordination of the gear, logistics of how to pick up all the sounds from one area to another, so on and so forth, but we made it work with everyone's amazing talents and efforts. We had so much fun doing it, and we can only hope we can do more videos in the near future."
We hope you have as much fun watching as they had making it. Since they put so much thought and effort into it, we had to share. Please, enjoy, on us!
