Executives of high-end French fashion house Louis Vuitton have filed a lawsuit against the makers of The Hangover Part II, since a handbag carried by Zach Galifianakis on screen is a fake.

The legal papers, filed at a federal court in New York on Thursday, claim that the brand is unhappy with a scene in which the actor carries a bag with a LVM logo and says, "Careful, that is a Louis Vuitton."

They claim the bag is not a real Louis Vuitton and could cause confusion among consumers. Uh, perhaps the bosses should go downtown in NYC and see some REAL fakes.

LV wants the scene cut and a cut of the profits.

Team The Hangover Part II or Team Louis Vuitton?
