Tonic, a goodwill Web site devoted to charity work, has recruited more than 70 celebrities for its “Celebrity iPod Auction Series.” Starting now, and running all the way through August, Tonic will auction off one to five autographed iPods every week, preloaded with playlists by such artists as Gwen Stefani, Faith Hill and Pete Wentz. More than 70 celebrities have contributed to the charity drive, which benefits Music Rising, an organization that replaces lost or damaged instruments in the hurricane-stricken Gulf Coast area of the U.S.
