Fall Out Boy Goes After Yet Another Guinness Record

While they failed to get into the Guinness Book of World Records for playing shows on all seven continents earlier this year (thanks a lot, Antarctica), Fall Out Boy is setting their sights on another odd record this Friday: "most radio interviews by a pair within 24 hours." Alastair Galpin and John Stansfield of New Zealand set the bar at 57 interviews in May of this year, so let's just say that Pete Wentz and Patrick Stump have quite a bit of work—and bad questions—ahead of them.
"It's nice to check some things off the list from time to time," Wentz told MTV.com. "Besides, like most things... why not? It's all a big adventure, even though this one's only kinda big."
"Sometimes I feel like I could talk forever," he added. "In all seriousness, we've been watching YouTube videos of that Micro Machines guy for speed, then a bit of Sarah Palin to study up on how to answer any specific question with whatever vague answer we want."
Los Angeles' Premiere Studios will host the pair's marathon interview session beginning at 3 a.m. PT on Friday.
